No advertising, analytics or location
Road Spotter contains no advertising, analytics or tracking and does not request location access. The developer operates no separate player account or server database for the app.
Local storage
Language and sound choices, boards, marks, times and basic statistics are stored locally on the device. Uninstalling the app removes this data. Active boards can also be reset in the app.
Gameplay content and multiplayer
Same-car play sends player names, board data and progress directly between participating devices. Online play uses Apple Game Center and associates match status with the player’s Game Center identity. On the App Store privacy label this is declared as Gameplay Content, linked to the user, used only for app functionality and not for tracking. Road Spotter has no chat.
Purchases and Apple services
Premium purchases are processed by the Apple App Store and StoreKit. The developer does not receive payment-card details. Apple’s terms and privacy rules apply to Game Center and the App Store.
This website
This is a static website and the developer does not use analytics, advertising or first-party cookies. It is hosted with GitHub Pages. GitHub states that visitors’ IP addresses are logged and stored for security purposes. See GitHub’s information about GitHub Pages.
Children and safety
The app has no chat, advertising or separate player account. It is intended for passengers; the driver must not use the app while the vehicle is moving.
Your choices and deletion
Locally stored app data can be removed by resetting boards or uninstalling the app. Game Center data and purchase history are handled by Apple through the user’s Apple Account. Questions can be sent to lars.ask@outlook.com.
Changes
Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. This policy must be reviewed if the app later adds analytics, advertising, a developer-operated server, accounts or other third-party services.
